went fishing 2day first 2 drifts we got 2 nice fish both about 23 inchs....then about 20 min later my rods bent in half doing a big head shack..big flounder it weighted 6.95 pounds just missed citation cought it on just a 10in long squid strip..then on the next drift my dad hooked up on a nice fish about 5.50 pounds....so we had a good trip with 4 keepers and no through backs...as we where fishing i saw 3 fish just under the surface they where all about 50 pounds im pretty sour they where cobia but that's a rare thing to c in the DE bay... then about 20 min later right before my dad starts the engine i see a big fin come up an sweral..it was cursing along around the boat never got a good look but i figured big shark, so i pitched a whole squid at it and perfectly in front of its face and it never touched it...so we figured it couldn't be a shark and its way to big to be any fish in hear ha..so we motter up right next to it and it was about a 400 pound sun fish...i was amazed first time seeing one this close to shore. we where only like 8 miles off.. he didn't seem to mind the bout and just swam around he was really cool to see i even got to pet the thing we got so close..but we where very careful not to hit it...so it was a awesome day on the water its kinda hard to beat that...my fish is also in a tourney for a 1000 dollars and im in first place now....by the way as anyone seen a sunfish this close to shore?
