tried the 2nd island yesterday and there was about 2ft of viz. I saw lots of crabs and a few small sheepshead or baby black drum, it was too murky to tell. I did not even launch a shaft. oh well it should improve soon.

We had completely lousy conditions down in Ocean City this weekend - heavy SW winds and rippin' current, literally couldn't see your hand in front of your face. But, a couple of us, not me, got some sheepshead and tog by braille diving :O

Thanks man. I didn't go anywhere this weekend and I'm heading back up to NJ on Friday. Hopefully we'll be spearing the jetties up there around LBI but the weather isn't looking too good for next weekend there at this point, either, but we'll see.

this spot needs to stay under the hat for a while[wink]I thought there would be a chance at spades,i was more interested in other species.you could have limited with a gun in about 5 minutes and never got wet,lol.

Well Usual, we're dyin' to know where that is! Maybe when we link up on the water sometime we can take a trip over there. Limit out on spades without ever leaving the boat and then drop into the salt for the main course.

At least a couple of us plan to drive down to VA Beach Friday night and head out on Racn's boat Saturday morning. Maybe you'll be up for a joint operation, man.
