Vis at the CLT???

Anyone been out there lately? Thinking about taking a run out tomorrow. Are the spade still there? Thanks for any info. Martin

We were there several weeks or more ago and the viz near the CLT was 6-12' and the spades were everywhere. A day of good shooting it was!

I'd say visbility was about 10 ft when I was out there Saturday. We dove in the morning. Tons of spades on the legs of the tower. Someone beside us said they saw an amberjack, but we never did. Water temp was 69-70. I dropped a sling and tried to get it, but it was cooooollllllld at the bottom. I didn't have a suit on, so I couldn't stand it. If anyone finds it, please let me know.

rcareymichael, with all the dive boats out there it is long gone probably. Lots of folks dive the tower so nothing would last long out there. If I see it when I go I'll let you know. Anyone else heading out later this week?? I'm off thurs-sun so maybe see you out there. Martin
