Son Peter located a nice fat Croaker who was residing in the rubble of the old train bridge (thanks to Skip for that hint!) Sorry the fish is partially hidden from view but Pete was having a hard time w/ the grip.....! Also a picture of our fair town last evening after the cell came through and soaked me. Have a great Fourth!

Nice croaker! Who knows what lurks in the rubble of the RR Bridge? I've seen rock to 34", perch to 13.5" (there are bigger ones there), and a couple of all-tackle IGFA-certified oyster toads. Cutter hooked a 4# Spanish over it in August four years ago. But it also matters where you fish on it. Sometimes 18" (yes, inches) can make a difference. Once you find a good spot, get marks or lat/lon #'s (or both) on it.

Bice work guys.

No croaker to show, but I did get out this morning for a couple of hours to finally run my boat and wet a line.

I hooked up with several whiteys in many regions from Round Bay on up, and also caught this little guy in Forked.

All on the fly.

Greg -

What is the pink circular thing near the LMB tail (I know I am opening myself up for anus jokes, but in your photo the pink object looks like it is on the fish's side not it's bottom.
