Bill Michelinie and I took an extended weekend trip to Potter and Clinton counties in PA to trout fish Kettle, Cross Fork and Young Womans Creeks. All three have special reg. water open year round. This past Friday afternoon we fished YWC without success. We only were able to get in about an hour and a half of fishing that day. On Saturday, we fished Cross Fork and saw a couple of fish eating midge pupae, but that was it. On Sunday we fished Kettle and found a long pool full of eager fish. We went back again on Monday and caught about 18 fish or so, all told, of all 3 flavors. A great time and great weather to boot.

We had great fun, for freshwater fishing ;-) Bill used to live up that way and he was my guide. Many firsts for me including my first brook trout, my first brown trout, and my first trout on a dry fly. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words:
