Picked up my neighbor at 4:30, on the water crabbing by 6:00. Went to my usual spot, and to my surprise there were no comm guys.
Proceded to drop my 2-600ft snood lines and 18 traps, I have 6 rings, 6 topless and 6 box traps.
Very slow pick to say the least, lots of smalls, whitey's and a few females. Ended with a mixed 1/2 bushel, which I was disappointed with til I got back to the dock. A couple on 1 side of the dock only had 2 keepers and had been on the water since 4:00. the people on the other side only had a dozen and a 1/2.
The highlight of the day was a Maryland Terrapin caught while running the line. That was a first. We are usually good for a few in the traps. We also caught a horseshoe crab in a ring trap.

My mistake, I actually went crabbin on July 4th, and it was not as busy as I expected.
