Went out of dundee creek last night around 6:00. Stayed for a few hours, 1 big jimmie and 1 big female. That was it. Baits were not chewed up at all. we didn't expect to catch much, but just wanted to see if the crabs have moved in yet. We only took 12 "test" traps. we put 6 in 7 to 8 foot water and 6 in about 10 foot near the crabline. Water and wind got pretty rough though. There were quite a few boats out there though, I was surprised to see so many crabbing on a Thursday night.

Thanks for the report. I had a friend go out earlier in the week with the same results. Maybe it's gonna take until August this year.

Lotta hopeful people out there. Gonna be a while. As stated by someone before it will actually be a normal year for the GP. It's been early in the past because of crazy hot temps and droughts.

I tried the Middle River at Sue Creek this morning. One jim in 3 runs, 28 traps. Moved to Rocky point and caught 8 more in 5 runs...They aren't here yet...
