I'm gonna hand pour some small soft plastics for my trips to the OBX this year. I really enjoy fishing for Speckle Trout while down. Iv'e had good success with Opening Night Bassassins and different shades of greens. My question is what other colors are good Trout colors?

THAT'S LIKE ASKING WHAT'S YOU FAVORITE COLOR TO A BUNCH OF KINDERGARDENERS!!!! I LIKE A LIME GREEN WITH A HINT OF NAVY BLUE AT THE TOP, OR BUBBLE GUN, XMAS COLORS, WHITE AND PINK, CHARTRUSE, GREEN, ETC... I CARRY THEM ALL. AND SWITCH FREQUENTLY IF THE ACTION DOESN'T SUFFICE. LOTS OF TIME THEY ARE TIDE ORIENTED AND THE COLOR DEPENDS OF THE WATER CLARITY.

You got that right. I was just figuring that was a given. Actually I poured about 50 five inch Bassassin lookalikes in that color as well as 50 green with a chart. tail today. They look real good. If this wind would give us a break I'm gonna see how good they work.
