Bennetts Creek Fiberglass Boats - ???

I live in Maryland and fish the Chesapeake Bay.

Looking at a skiff my buddy is selling. It's made by Bennetts Creek Fiberglass in Hobbsville, North Carolina. Did a Hull ID # search through coast guard and came back that these boats are no longer in production.

Anyone out there know anything about these boats or their builder?

I'm familair with hobbsville but I've never heard of anyone making fiberglass boats in that area.hobbsville is pretty much just a post office and a few houses with alot of farming.mike
