I was wondering if anyone has fished this area and what i might catch or use for bait. I want to try it this sat. In the kayak.

look for submerged grass then look for a speck with gulp swimming mullet (chartreuse or smoke) or a bass assasin (electric chicken) on 1/8 oz jig head if youre throwing artificials...otherwise croaker should be thick around there if you want a sure thing.

With these strong southwest winds, floating grass will probably be a problem. You might want to try the Rappahannock instead.
