I can't make it down there until Monday night, but then I'm gonna be there for the better part of next week. Forecast looks sucky at this point, but it should lay down at least one day next week....I hope. I'm pulling the boat down.

I see all these posts about OC, 26 mile hill, lumpys, and all that stuff north of OI. Has the small boat herd thinned out at OI? Any chance of trolling up some YFT's or mahi or billfish, or do I have to buy a kite? A while back someone joked that I ain't gonna catch a YFT anywhere near a charter boat down there (so far I've proven this is correct). Is the bite slowing at OI?

Yes....I view the OIFC fishing report daily and, according to their photos, the fish are always jumping into the boats. Any REAL reports from the LITTLE GUYS?

I'm going out of OI Monday. Kayak man may be correct. This will be my 3rd try in a week at a yft w/o a kite.

I'm headin' down to OI. Weather window is looking tight. I'm too tired to go fishing tomorrow (Tuesday), but WEDNESDAY is looking do-able....maybe. Who's going?
