timing question

thinking of going to the outerbanks sometime for some fishin of course, whats a good time of the year, off season, when the fish are bitin in the surf? id like to try for blues, albies, stripers, ect. prefer to do it with a fly rod, but will try bait also. was thinking of oct/nov or apr/may.

i know nothing about the area so any help would be great

Fall for sure.............................................. ............only problem is getting here for a week and a noreaster deciding to drop in at the same time...got to take your chances it is worth it....
