croaker in the york

Are croaker still in the york , i usually go near the croaker exit I guess thats a state park there but i was thinking about going somewhere Mon . Thanks

I went on The York River on Tuesday at Gloucester Point caught plenty of croaker but all were very small only keep about 10 to 15 the whole day

we fished most every day the week of the 6th and were able to catch but they do run small. someone said the netters are working the river at night.

Isnt there are boat ramp somewhere at west point , i know the park close at dark if i were to try to go out at night

Is at the foot of he Mattaponi River Bridge on the southern (West Point Side). Look for the sign. If coming from Interstate 64, drive all the way thru West Point on 33. As you leave town and are at the bridge, look for the brown boat ramp sign. Its a left hand turn right before the bridge. The ramp is 200 yards or so above the bridge.
