Similar to everyone else we fished the Hambone and CHickenbone in the morning looking for some BFT love. No joy there so we moved outside to the sausages. Lot's of bait and life and we had a white whacking on of my birds but never ate. Left there and headed inshore looking for an under BFT. After 20 min or so we get a bite on the right long rigger with a blue and white islander hoo combo. Figured we had out under until at the boat it turned into a nice 21# king mack. That was it for us for the day.
Here's BryanG with his nice king. It was a nice fat fish.

Nice catch! Boat next to me at the dock went to chickenbone and had a 150-160 lb BFT on the boat by 8:30am. Seems a lot of 60-65" BFT are migrating right now. Every other BFT I saw on the dock yesterday was the same size.

Thanks for the report and as you known that ham/chicken bone area has gotten hit or miss. Mac's in the house is good news for plan B days. Any sharking in your future or done for the season?
