Line Suggestions

Getting ready to buy some TLD 50's and wanted some suggestions on what test mono you would suggest. I realize this is personal opinion but I am new to this and am all ears!:thumbup:

I like momoi diamond, 60 lb. test. It breaks at over 90 lbs.

Where you getting your TLD 50s ? River marine supply at the link below has them for $290 plus shipping. Best deal I have found. I have ordered many things from them and they treated me very good.

I like regular Pink Ande in 50 lb. test. Tough as nails and holds knots well.

For me 80 lb Blue Diamond Momoi... NEVER HAD A FAILURE!!!

Looks like others like Ande Tournament, but I'll stick to what works for me...

another vote for 80 Diamond Momoi except clear for me, but the blue looks nicer

Power pro backing with Ande on top works best for me. Can't beat Ande mono! I don't use the tournament, it's weeker then regular Ande if it's rated at 50lb that's where it will break the regular will break around 65 or 70.

I like the 80 lb. Suffix on the 50 class reel. Never had a failure. I set the drag at 20 lbs and the line has never broken.

I second Momoi Diamond 60lbs, it is a good match for the TLD50II. I have used the 80lb Momoi on my TLD50II and never broke off a fish too, but you can load a lot more of the 60 than the 80.

I located TLD 50II LRSA for $290 plus shipping. Need to find the link again.
