Hi All,
My 03 Sea Pro 2100 holds water on the deck and is uncomfortable at times. I plan to fish December at Kiptopeke and wet feet would not be pleasant, even with waterproof boots.
I know that water enters the rear drains and I use plumbing test plugs to stop this happening as launching and/or passenger weight shifts to the stern. Rain also complicates the problem. With forward motion, the water is exhausted as it should be. But without motion, it stays, and stays.
I don't think the water staying is normal, so there may be something I've missed. Sure appreciate any suggestions, especially from owners of a like boat.
I have 300 pounds of batteries in the console, a 300 pound bait tank in front of the console, and a several hundred pound T-top, and a trolling motor. I (200#s) realize that I've loaded near the capacity of the boat, but typically fish solo. I may be forced to buy a larger boat, but . . .
Much appreciation for any suggestions/help,
