In that area there are several. Have talked with a few, most rent for about $225 to $300 per day. Skiffs and 20 foot cc mostly.
Ill be in the are nearby... Topsail from Oct 9-23 and might be able to share some cost to fish, light line and live bait type. Sound House we are renting at HAD a deep water dock...NOW its gone and I will not be able to rnet a boat I was renting a 20 footer from parisise marina most likely. They seemed good.
Good luck.

Thanks for the info - I will be there the 30th 1st and 2nd so I will miss you ESEwetlands but I will post a report when I get back. Just got hooked into a Whaler last night so all is well, may rent a fishing kayak to try one out while I am there before I buy one. Thanks for the links. Any idea about local fishing reports ?

Check out Cape Fear Kayaks on Eastwood Rd. They have a bunch of fishing kayaks and if you do purchase one they will outfit it for you.
