Sand Fleas???

I will be going to Carolina Beach next weekend(Oct 8). Up north in Delaware we use what is called sand fleas for catching seabass and other species. Was wondering if sand fleas are available down south (Carolina Beach area) and where may I pick some up?

Try the sand on the beach. They are usually in the wash. Depends on the beach too, you might have to check out a couple of beaches on the shore.

You should be able to find them just about anywhere along the wash line. Heard they're good for pompano too.
