thanksgiving week?

We are thinking of heading down the week of Thanksgiving for some offshore fishing and I was wondering what we can expect as far as typical catch, weather and seas for that time of year?

Also- if the hoos are still around- what is the preferred set-up for wire vs. mono to not scare away the tuna?

I'm not so sure about the H.I area, but buy Thanksgiving we are usually doing well on the Bluefin Tuna just off Morehead City. Anywhere from the Shad boat to Big Ten Little Ten area, anywhere from 6 to 15 miles offshore. The Big Rock area is doing quite well with the Hoo's that time of year as well.
