I have a question for anyone from the nags head area. I am going to be in nags head next week, I'm going there on business and would like to do some surf fishing, I can't bring my boat. can anyone give me any advice on where to go whats biting and what tackle I should bring. Thanks a lot for the input

Trout, puppy drum and spot. I'am going to Avalion Pier Friday (28th) so I'll give a report when we get back.

Rained us out [sad] but we did ride down and have a look. Saw a couple trout caught and a couple spot. And one keeper puppy drum. Not worth getting wet over.
