have'nt heard any 1st hand reports but they usually do preety good off the catwalk this time of year.

We used to catch flounder at the point (Hatteras) in january.

I was there all day friday soaking three eels and casting from what should have been a perfect spot on the bar. Nada, Icouldnt believe it.
others said it had been the same for days.
It may improve with some of the fronts we have had thrrough, I dunno. I was there Friday as the seas calmed down to 1-2 feet and the water cleared. Should've been perfect for catching. Nada[sad]

Just got back. Checked up North to Corola on saturday and it was slow but i did find lots of birds at the end of the breakwater/white water at OI and one of the guys had a 36-40" rock but nothing on the catwalk.

did anyone see the 16 foot basking shark that washed up?
