fished sat.dec.30th with jay latham from TF and Scotty from work.
13lb bluefish all day long from the inlet and south to the boiler.we fished right up as close as we could without getting in the breakers and it was really something to see.
schools of different kinds of fish being driven to the beach and they were all around the boat and we watched as the big blues ate their lunch.we even had a blue regergatate a fish as he was beside the boat trying to shake off Jay's line.
we fished with 7' med. spinning rods throwing a mix of lures and stayed hooked up the entire day.the blues were 35" long and weighted right at 13 lbs.lots of fun had by all.
we did take a break and drop some eels at the brifge while we ate lunch but never did anything. L8tr mike [grin]

Where did he fish at? What was he using? We are going down this Friday and it looks like the weather is going to keep us onshore.

Now that's a neat day. I just wish I could get my son into action like that. Seems we've been snakebit. I was injured or ill all summer and our first trip off NC the water was too cold. Still beats that four letter word - you know the one I mean!!! Mako15
