Blue Fin Tuna report

I've scheduled a BFT trip 1/12 - 1/15/06 out of Morehead City NC. Any reports (negative or positive) of the Blue Fins in or around the area we will be fishing?

Bite seems to be picking up some. We had a quad hookup on Sunday and boated 2 (81 and 85") and got a 91" today. Weather looking bad for the weekend though. Good luck!

SST's look like the water is close....how far out were ya??? Deep bite or shallow??? Thanks for any info......Tom

All our luck this year was out between the big 10 and the 240 rock. We are done for the year though. Believe the tunas are also.

Thanks for the feedback.....the bite never really seemed to get hot very long this year...was just hoping maybe it was a little late like everything else (stripers, etc.). Thanks again for the post. Tom[smile]

Know what you mean about wishing it was running late. Kept wishing that all the way through the weekend.
