Hatteras Inlet Navigation Tips ????

I just read the Oregon Inlet Navigation Tips thread. Thanks to all the contributors.

Does anyone have similar tips / advice on exiting and entering Hatteras?

hatteras is the reverse of OI.south or se is not good at hatteras.same as any inlet on tides.
