has anyone have or had a 1000 or 1500 jrc radar and can tell me what kind of unit it is,sounds realy good on paper. thanks for any help john

Sounds better on paper. I convinced myself of that too. Will be a money pit and no one wants to help you. Had a furuno once and now a Raymarine and would HIGHLY reccomend the raymarine. Contact Kevin at marine electronics in Hartfield, super guy with great prices and service.
