NC Fishermen and Women,

With the new saltwater license coming in 2007, I was wondering if any of you would like to see a boat license included in the plan. I see a great deal of NC fishermen in the James River up here in VA and I know that they appreciate being able to buy a VA license that covers all the people they fish with. I have no problem with buying the NC license and rest assured that everyone fishing on my boat in NC coastal waters will have one also. It would just be nice to get a license that would cover the whole boat. Maybe it will happen in the future. Just thought I would throw that out there.

If Carolina doesn't do the boat license they will either lose a lot of business or write a bunch of tickets. Definitely all for a boat license.

It's funny you should ask this question Jimbo. I was thinking about that very same topic yesterday. It would make alot of sense if they did. But they don't always do what makes sense. If they don't I think I will talk to Sentor Mark Basnight and see what he can do.

There was a provision added to the bill for a blanket license. We will have one.

Jimbo I didn't know you could buy a VA license that covered everyone in the boat. When did they start doing that?
