:clap:Went to launch the boat starboard engine wont start. Found battery switch not fully in detent. Engine starts started heading out engine dies again (no batt volts) bad battery stop at AKE's buy a battery put battery in still no joy turning out to be a real Sh_tty morning. check fuse from ecm 5amp blown, new fuse engine starts. We head out 3miles of shore run into PEA SOUP, thank goodness for RADAR. 10 miles later she burns off. Start trolling at the Fingers, w/t 77.1 , just east of the fingers 1st gaffer for the boat comes in two hoo's bite off. trolled our way to the hambone close center rod goes of line screaming, start to clear the deck WWB goes off. Double header on WAHOO. get them in start to set the lines WWB goes off again small Dolphin, trolled around for alittle while 2pm headed in. Awesome day on the water.

I was marking some big returns around the 140 ft.

Appreciate the rpt...we were just talkin about that hoo bite a couple yrs ago in August...looks like it's time 2 head east again.

Nice work . We couldn't find much of anything on the troll yesterday . We did have a white slash at one of the squid chains but he just up and left . Also had a clean bite off on one of the witch/hoos . Decided to try deep dropping for tiles but no love there either . Went to fish a wreck recently found in very deep water (500 feet) and it was game on for nice wreckfish . Managed to get nine of those to 26 lbs . Made quite a stir at the dock as most had never seen them before . What started out as a lame day turned out ok with some nice meat to take home . Will post pics and vids when I get them .

Just curious, how many WMO tourney boats were around the fingers? I am heading saturday and was hoping most of the WMO fishing pressure this week was from the 30 line out.
