Fished out of OC yesterday (thur) - started on the Hambone looking for a BFT, marked very little so after about an hour moved out to the 30 Fa line north of the hot dog, picked up a nice gaffer, but saw very little life, and even fewer marks. Finished the day off with a troll home accross Masseys, but no luck there either.
Total for the day was the one gaffer - - but more importantly for others, was the lack of bait, life etc. Saw no turtles, grass, bait, dolphin, etc. We did see a number of birds, but that was about it. Was surprised how dead the area was. Had been hoping to find a lump with marks deep to jig/chunk, but never saw a spot worth investing the time.
