Brand new to Tidal Fish and the NC Angler board....thought I would say hello and post a pic of a trout my buddy caught when we went out on Thursday. Nice size for this time of year. Caught 6 and all but 1 was keeper sized. A little cold but all in all a nice day.
NICE SPECK.... I ALSO LIKE THE SAM&OMMIES ELEPHANT.

things are kinda slow this time of the year here on the board,but it should start picking up soon.
I was actually fishing in a number of the various creeks that can be found in the mouth of the Neuse river in Pamlico County just over the New Bern bridge in the vicinity of Oriental. A good number of trout can be found in most of these creeks especially now that the weather is starting to warm up...most are small...between 11" and 15", and found in schools so that although they can be hard to locate, once you do have found them you usually catch a good handful of 'em. But you can also find a nice one every now and then.
