Sunday went across the river with a friend to scout out some new spots on the MD shore. still managing to pull plenty of fish out of the VA spots but it is getting crowded. still have some as yet undiscovered spot and croaker holes that always produce. but, i think half the fun is finding the fish. i watch boat after boat stop where ever they see 2 or more boats close together and assume the fish are there.
anyway i started at a nice ledge and slow trolled/watched ff back and forth. couple of bait pods. nothing super promising so we continued down river stopping when we saw structure or potential structure. bad day for scouting. super bright and smoking hot. no fish, but we found lots of potential spots that i want to check out at different times of day. ended up in tall timbers and enjoyed a late bfast in the AC at that restaurant there.
