My brother and my son went back to the slough on sunday with very little luck...[sad] I invited my dad to go with me today.Pulled into the slough water temp was 60.5 versus 70.1 on Saturday..[sad] We gave it a try anyway caught barely nothing.1 throw back trout , several skates, and the notorious bait stealer the pig fish..We discusssed trying some new spots and went west.We found a channel between two sandbars and the water temp went up to 68...Hmmmm lets try a drift and see whats in here....Two seconds later 13 inch flounder.....Then a 15 incher....Long story short we caught atleats 20 or 25 with 6 keepers the biggest around 19 inches....[grin] Lesson to be learned if what your doing is not working try something else....Bluefish strips caught the most flouder for the day but we also caught some on strip pigfish...Once again no boats in around wow how pleasant it was today....The sun came out and the wind layed out to nothing and fresh flouder for baking [grin]

Nice Job,
God I need to get down there and get a line wet. Keep catching 'em up.
