Has anyone caught any big white perch?

catching alot of whiteys but the big ones are scattered now that the spawn is pretty much over.....

catching some nice size perch in the currituck sound. try small hooks with softsell crab. dont frezze them b/c they just fall apart. fresh.
catch-em everytime. last weekend caught 12 nice size ones. tend to be toward the banks, early in the morning, late afternoon. [grin]

heard yesturday that they are tearin them up in the North River. hope this helps. have fun. catching big ones.[excited]

got a report on monday beetle spins tipped with crab over 200 really really nice ones uo in nort river and indiantown.

Fished North River and Indian Town Creek area yesterday afternoon (06/13/06) for two hours and kept 22 white perch. Used a beetle spin tipped with shrimp. Seems as though the fish are right next to the bank.
