After heading out to Great Gull shoal and catching a few sharks we headed in to the inlet to drift for flounder. We made 4 consectutive drifts with 4 keepers to 22 inches on the backside of the inlet. I have fished the inlet twice this year without a keeper so today was obviously a good day. We fished big baits and that seemed to do the trick. The flies were so bad that we called it a day after the tide died.

Nice job Matt glad you guys got some fish for dinner. Glad to see you out after the surgury and hope you are healing well.

Thanks Captain I am getting a little better everyday. It was tough for Pat to take it easy on me running the 5 miles out to shark fish but he did. We actually had the flounder tonight, we made fish tacos with it and also went out and got a half bushel real quick to eat also. Local corn,crabs and fresh flounder a good night to say the least. I hope the fish show up for you guys next week. Good luck.
