On Saturday, September 12, 2009 - the Havre de Grace Decoy Museum is holding its annual "Duck Fair." Its an open air event, FREE TO ALL WHO ATTEND with food, decoy carver's various auctions (Live and Silent) on the grounds of the museum in HdG. Its a duck carvers flea market...
There will be retriever demonstrations, a beer garden and alot of great food. This is for hunters and decoys lovers everywhere. Come out and get a chance to see the museum and meet alot of the HdG carvers.
Our chapter will also be continuing the duck & goose calling contest coined "Calling the Flats" (Junior & Open Duck/Goose). Its a "Meat Duck/Live Goose" contest - Junior 16 and under $10. Open is $20. Prizes will plaques and registration will begin at 9am, contest will be at noon. Callers will call from the Upper Chesapeake Outfitters Duckwater Boat.
