Chickahomony River Tips

Any tips on fishing the Chickahomony River near Williamsburg? We have decent luck with the smaller cats but nothing over 25lbs lately. We are getting hits but they just hit it and thats all. Wondering if anyone has any tips or pointers they would be willing to share.

Fishing has been slow the last couple weeks. Fish at night and dont move from a spot for at least 2 hours. Good fishing Kevin

Use fresh bait; either cut herring, menhaden, etc. or live jumbo minnows, small fish, etc.
