Fished out of Teachs Sat and Sun, it was the first time offshore in my own boats using all my own stuff and what a blast!
Saturday started off pretty slow, started the day at the Rockpile and trolled all around with out a bite. After lunch moved a little inshore of the Rockpile and ended up catching two nice sized wahoo lost another one, and caught one barracuda.
Sunday we started inshore of the Rockpile where we found them the day before and got bit off by a wahoo almost immediately.... the we worked a little bit north away from all the boats and got a nice 26lb wahoo and a little (bairly leagal) yellow fin! I was surprised that we caught a YFT out of Hatteras and not the first mahi all weekend.
All in all a super time, the weather was amazing and I am sure that my boat is gonna be heading back out to the blue water very soon!!!!
