Things picking up

I put the boat on last nigth at Rocky Point. 20 traps, didn't get the first one in until 6:30, using necks. Goal was only a dozen for me and the girl.

Came back with 13 nice keepers. Threw back at least 20 females and 7-8 white bellies. Tide was RIPPING out, came back on low tide and i didn't think my truck was gonna pull her up the ramp, :eek2:

girlfriend dropped the biggest of the day overboard :eek:


Might get serious and try them again this weekend.

I was out at Rocky Point also yesterday from 3:30 till 5:30. Caught 25 on 1200 ft line. Most were light but 8 of them were nice and big. Has been slow going but should be good in the next couple of weeks.
