me and a buddy went and fished off a lighthouse just south of Woodrow Wilson bridge. set up in 30 foot. got one cat bout 15 pound. used cut bunker from cobia trip. is that a good bait?? we're fishing the same spot saturday night. sounds like cut eels is the way to go. any tips for us would be awesome. just tryin to catch some good cats. thanks guys

If it was me I'd see if a cast net could be used around there to net some gizzard shad. Cut it ino big chunks and fish in various depths. Doesn't always have to be the deepest water.

Wasibi is right. Fresh bait is the way to go. When you are looking for a place to fish look for sharp channel drops, stuff on the bottom like rocks or logs, or bends in the river. Now don't over look the man made things like wing dams, or docks. Just use you best judgement and if you try one pattern and its not working change it up to something totaly different. Just bc it work yesterday doesn't mean it will work today. Man I could keep going on and on. Good luck and let us know how you do.
