Someone who holds a LCC offered the state their license for 425 million :D in the buy back bid.

I gotta give them credit for trying :pp. Bet DNR looked twice at that bid :eek2:.

No credit to him that is just dumb . If he didn't want to sell his LCC he should hav just kept quiet

If they are buying them back are they going to take applications and sell them again.

I'm glad the signers of the Declaration of Independence didn't keep quiet, either.
Protest is the truest form of democracy.

It's obvious he was making a statement of protest.

I'm surprised that the State didn't buy the LCC's from anyone who wanted less than $2260. Although, it would have seemed like an under-handed thing to do, it would have saved money.

Didn't I read that to sell an LCC that equipment had to be included? I wonder if the State is going to change the law or choose to ignore it?

The State was very clear in their letter, they were not buying any equipment. The auction was for the license only.
