:eek:Heading to a site next to the Nags Head Pier I got hit by a 5fter. and lost my grip on a ScubaPro fin. If I go by the current it should be by the islands by now so please keep an eye on that black little spot on the botttom and don't shoot it, please. :)

Chump - no real diver ever loses gear. I dive a lot and always return with all my stuff - well most times. :D

I'll find your fin if you find my quick release weight pouch with 7 lbs lead, one small lift bag , small BCD pocket flashlight , speargun point , wreck reel and close up camera lens.

Sucks losing stuff - happens to everyone sooner or later.

27 Sailfish, I just hope you didn't loose ALL that stuff ALL in one day. :) Let's make a deal...I have found two out of seven from your long list but I'll wait a bit longer just to have them all ready and clean for you as long as you keep looking for my 1968 ScubaPro Jetfin still in great condition after all these years!! Hey....what a great excuse to keep on diving and looking.

I hope it's been a good divin season for you. Andy

Andy,

I lost a ScubaPro jetfin several years ago by falling off the wall trying to go spearfishing at Masonboro inlet. I bought another pair but may still have the single fin from the first pair. I think it's even a 1968 model or close to it. Bmail me if you want it or want to get rid of yours. I also lost a weight belt with two 6-pound hip weights and a Mares 70 cm pneumatic speargun there at the same time. Worst loss was my dignity at the time. :eek2:

Spearo - that list is from about 7 years of OOPS.

I am ahead a 5lb weight , a dive slate and a tank knocker.

Diving with one fin makes getting lost harder - you'll swim in circles :D.

27 Saifish, you are right about the one fin deal but.. you should have seen me shore diving in a full leg plaster cast back in my younger years after I broke it in two places in a car accident. This is true, they were going to cut it off the next day but the itch inside the cast was too much to handle and the water was warm and clear so diving I went, cast and all!

Fishhooter, you guys need and should change your beverage before going UW my friend. LOL

What size is that fin, large? I now use xlg. but the one I lost was my early shore gear stuff, you know, good old stuff that can take the beating and comes out looking better than before. Please let me know what size you have.

Thanks

I have a large single Jetfin. I was saving it in case I lost another one. :D I have an extra large pair of Jetfins for the drysuit but don't dive dry much anymore. Actually, I don't scuba much anymore either.

Need any other gear? Spearguns perhaps? Tanks? Need any other stuff? Over the span of 40-some years I've devolved from a serious North Atlantic wreck diver into a warm water vacation diver.

Spearo,

I bought a new pair of large Jetfins for wetsuit use so I actually have three large jetfins and two extra large. How about $35 for the single? It's in great shape and LOTS cheaper than buying a new pair. Can send picture if needed. I'm in Arnold, just outside of Annapolis. Bmail me if interested.

Okay, meanwhile, what would you take for yours? I have some sons that might be interested in putting it together with mine to make a pair.

I'll sell it for your price plus the shipping, I have no clue what that will be. The fin is in great condition I even silicone (food grade) top and bottom every year to keep rubber nice. If the pr. was XL I would have kept them.

Where are you located? Do you ever get near Annapolis or Baltimore? Maybe we could bypass shipping.
