Restless Lady 8/22, inshore trip

[Restless Lady]

We went out Saturday 8/22 to some inshore lumps, just a half day trip.
Lots of spanish mackeral, bluefish and false albacore.
Good size swells thanks to Bill. Inlet was a little dicey coming back in,
nothing we haven't seen before, just have to pay a little more attention to what's going on.

Glad to hear the macks and falsies have arrived- i fished all of the lumps and the spot the first day of the open and it was only bluefish (lay day for the tourney, charter day on my boat)

That boat to the left in the pic (light blue-Fish Hawk) has an interesting history. It was just launched about a month ago after many years on the hard. It was a commercial boat in the Delaware Bay and found one day drifting with the owner/Capt DOA on the deck. A grandfather/grandson team worked on it for a couple of years to get it back on the water. It was tied up in Lewes a couple of weeks ago. Are you in OC?
