Left O/C at 6:00 AM on 08/25. Started trolling two miles west of the Bow Mariner . Within five minutes a write jumps the pink skirted bally on the flat line. Throws the hook in about thirty seconds. Within a minute the downrigger rod starts screeming , almost spooled then the line parts just above the swivel---real bummer. About an hour passes and heading to the deep. Flat line again---another pink skirt----this time we hook up and release a nice white. Another hour and once again ---flat line with a pink skirt---another hook up and another release. Troll out to the tip and another white smacks the long rigger----no hook up. It was a great day 85 degree water and a lot of fun. Two for four on whites.
