Ran to the 10Fathom Lump and put lines in and trolled east to the 44014 weather bouy. 30 minutes into the troll, a marlin crashes the starboard short rigger and a small Bonito takes the port short rigger. We boated the bonito and cleared lines and fought the marlin for 20 minutes before it came unbuttoned :mad:. Lines back in and started trolling around the weather bouy, another marlin crashes the same short rigger. Bring it within 15 feet of the boat and it lets go :censored: . We contined trolling the area working our way south over the Cigar. We picked up a small Mahi, Fat Albert and finally a Barracuda. We called it a day at 3:30 and headed for the barn. The ocean was a little bumpy on the way out but it settled out nicely for the ride in at 23kts. The water was blue but still a lot of room for improvement.
