Flounder eatin peanuts?

Went to SEAHAWK yesterday and got some secret bait he had a few of. FLOUNDER TORE EM UP! Outfished live minnis, frozen shiners and squid. Fished 4 hours caught 40-50 fish, brought home 3. 21 & 1/2, 21 and a 19. Two bigger weighed 3 lbs a piece, THICK FISH! Jr and friends had a blast just before school starts, prob his last trip for flats of the year.

PEANUT BUNKER of course. Last time I told my hotspot, friends threatened to cut me off! 19 inches means Virginia and fish were next to inlet, heard reports of several inlets doing about the same! Matt down at Seahawk has a pretty good FISH REPORT and he's got the BAIT! GOODLUCK

Back in the 70s we dip netted a load of those up here,froze them,then took them to Chincoteague & Wachapreague.For some reason,unbeknownst to us.We didn't catch 1 flounder on them?
We used them just like we wuld frozen silversides,which worked good.

Alot of peanuts seaside and bayside right now (about 3"), maybe it's match the hatch right now. Used them Tangier Sound last week outfished live minnis there too, saw them schooled in the local harbors in the area. Know of 2 other guys that used them seaside in VA this week and they worked well. SAW A GUY ON YOUTUBE CATCHIN PUPPYDRUM ON JALAPENO PEPPERS OH WELL!

Were they frozen like ours were when you tried them?

Had fresh one day when I caught some then used frozen, hooked under chin and out thru nose. Get plucked off easy like shiners but fish seemed to like them on top bait on small bucktail with alot of flash !
