Not everyone supports that plan. Jeff Crockett, president of the Tangier Island Waterman's Association, said, "You can't work a riprap reef," because the rocks prevent the use of power-dredging equipment. "I can see the benefit of it, but I wish they wouldn't have used our money for something that's never going to be harvested."
" our money" ? Do waterman want to see the bay restored or just their pocketbooks?
