Has anyone towed across the bridge/ tunnel with a big boat latley. I made the trip a few times and had no problems before . Last time The person at the booth just asked my width and I pay a lot of money and across I went.

I towed my 36' Contender across not to long ago. They came out at the booth and measured the width and charged me a over width charge. I think it was $60. I am 10' 4". I did not need a escort though... Just a $$ gimmick. Ben

I've pulled a 26 ' center console with 9'2" beam thru twice this summer, no problems,, anything over 8/6" is overwidth and the the toll is $60, anything over 10' 6" is $240 with an escort,, they shut down the tunnels for you,
