First for the last call- I fished the 51st annual OCMC White marlin tourney- I caught a few marlin, missed a few more, and just did not get the job done as far as the tourney went. Going in to today (with a few boats having a day left) The Cyntinory is winning with 12 releases (i think) the marlin bite was good from the Southern Baltimore up to the Wilmington. I also heard of fish in the poormans and the Washington. Magic depth is 55 to 70 fathoms.
The other big news in the fleet is that several different batches of yellowfins moved in along the 30 fathom line. The fish ranged from just below the dog to the elephant trunk. Anywhere from BLT's to 50 pounders. I think the Press Time had the best day yesterday with 21 fish, and I know the Clear Shot and the Zipper got in on them pretty good as well.
There were lots of falsies mixed in with the yellowfin.
Hopefully this wind does not screw us up to bad. Already had to reschedule today.
