Left Broad Creek 0:dark:30 into a driving 30 NE.. I can't wait for this NE to blows out.. Trolled out of 6R, put 2 nice spanyards in the box (22,26) once again we got sick of being pounded out there so we headed in and up the river to the WSB,, got into the schoolies and blue fish around the bridge pilings.. Then took some of those blue fish strips and went flounder fishing... No luck on the flatties.. Trolled our way back to broad creak at 4:00.. Home with dry underware on aaahhhhh!!!

Glad to hear that the macs are still around. Seems like the flounder are few and far between. Sounds like it was pretty rough out there.

Thanks for the post! Busy all week - hope the macs stick around a while longer.

I agree on the dropping water temps. We still managed to find them Saturday morning early at Windmill Point before it got too choppy. Had 8 or 9 on the lines but only boated 5 as we had too many lines in the water! I hope my son is reading this post as he argued that it was my fault as the captain :nono: When is he going to learn? Even at 25 he still won't accept I'm right :eek2: Funny thing, when we dropped one of the rods from the spread we boated the rest of our catch....Fried these up for lunch Saturday. I'm probably done on the Macs for this year. I'm going to save my gas money for the striper season. May see if we can get another keeper flounder or two in the river though as I have some picked crab in the freezer to use up. Be safe and good luck.
