What is the maximum beam you are allowed to trailer in MD? From what I remember it's 8 feet, but I'm not sure.
Do MD Troopers enforce this law?
96" on the state highways,,102" on the interstates
however senate bill 58 (passed in the senate and now in the house ) increases the limit to 102" on the state roads..I am not aware of the state police ever enforcing the 96" limit with a trailer that is 102"...I have heard of overwide tickets being issued to boats with 120" beams.

I haul my boat all over. 9'6" beam. Never been stopped.
DId Senate Bill 58 pass, and if so when does the new 102" limit go into effect?
Thanks All!!
