Even with the 15 to 20 knot winds we caught 30 puppy drum some were atleast 40 lbs it was a little wet but the bite turned on around 2pm and was steady until around 430. Using cut mullet for bait worked best.

what area were you fishing at. I am going down the end of this month and I sure would like to catch some some
drum. Thanks for any helpful information.

Fred we were in the sound at high tide fishing cut bait around deep edges and duck blinds. Good Luck
